TERMS AND CONDITIONS

Last updated: September 3, 2026

These Terms and Conditions (“Terms”) govern your use of the MIP Awards website located at mipawards.com (the “Site”), operated by Alpin Group (“we,” “us,” or “the Organizer”). By visiting the Site, submitting a MIP fact, or casting a vote, you agree to these Terms. If you do not agree, please do not use the Site.

1. What This Site Does

The Site supports the MIP Awards (“Most Interesting Person Awards”), an annual, informal awards event. Through the Site, visitors may submit their name and an “interesting fact” about themselves, browse submitted facts, and cast one vote for their favorite. The Organizer will announce a winner following the close of voting, as described on the Site's Timeline.

2. Eligibility

The Site is intended for guests and friends of the MIP Awards event and the people they choose to share it with. There is no cost to submit a fact or vote. The Organizer may restrict participation or remove any submission or vote at its sole discretion, including for suspected abuse of the submission or voting process.

3. Submissions

By submitting your name, fact, or any other content (a “Submission”), you confirm you have the right to share it and that it does not knowingly defame, harass, or violate the privacy or rights of any person.

Submissions on this Site are intended as lighthearted, fun content for entertainment purposes at a private event. The Organizer does not verify the factual accuracy of any Submission and is not responsible for its truthfulness.

By submitting content, you grant the Organizer a non-exclusive, royalty-free, worldwide right to display, reproduce, and share that content on the Site and in connection with the MIP Awards event (including at the event itself, on social media, or in future promotion of the MIP Awards).

The Organizer may edit, decline to publish, or remove any Submission at its sole discretion, for any reason, including content that is offensive, inappropriate, or violates these Terms.

4. Voting

Each visitor may cast one (1) vote for the duration of the voting period shown on the Site. Attempting to cast more than one vote, using false information, or otherwise attempting to manipulate the vote count is prohibited and may result in disqualification of the relevant vote(s).

Voting is open only during the dates and times posted on the Site's Timeline. The Organizer reserves the right to extend, shorten, pause, or otherwise modify the voting period if necessary.

All results and the determination of the winner are final and at the sole discretion of the Organizer.

5. Privacy & Contact Information

If you provide your name, email address, phone number, or other contact information through the Site (including via the contact capture form or when submitting a fact or vote), that information is collected and owned by Alpin Group.

Your contact information will be used by Alpin Group to communicate with you about the MIP Awards and related events, and will not be sold to any third party.

The website developer and any other service providers assisting with the Site are contractually prohibited from using your information for their own purposes or disclosing it to third parties.

If you would like your information removed from our records, contact us using the information in Section 12 below.

6. Sponsors

This year's MIP Awards is supported by sponsors whose names or logos may appear on the Site. Display of a sponsor's name or logo reflects their support of the event and does not constitute an endorsement of, or by, any individual nominee, submission, or vote outcome. The Organizer is not responsible for the products, services, or conduct of any sponsor.

7. Intellectual Property

The Site, including its design, branding, trophy imagery, and all content created by or for the Organizer (excluding user Submissions, which are licensed as described in Section 3), is the property of Alpin Group and may not be copied, reproduced, or used without prior written permission.

8. Disclaimer of Warranties

The Site and the MIP Awards event are provided “as is” and “as available,” without warranties of any kind, whether express or implied. The Organizer does not guarantee the Site will be uninterrupted, error-free, or available at all times.

9. Limitation of Liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, Alpin Group shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from your use of the Site, participation in the MIP Awards, or reliance on any Submission or result.

10. Changes to These Terms

The Organizer may update these Terms from time to time. The “Last updated” date at the top of this page reflects the most recent revision. Continued use of the Site after changes are posted constitutes acceptance of the updated Terms.

11. Governing Law

These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of Missouri, without regard to conflict-of-law principles.
